Reservations Call early to ensure availability!
Advanced reservations are strongly recommended to ensure availability. We require that all of our guests meet minimum standards to ensure the health and safety of your and other owner's pets. For new customers, a brief interview and registration form are required to learn your pet's needs, medical records, and personality. Please have the below information available so the interview process can be brief.
Your pet may have a preference or dietary need for a specific food. You may supply your pet's food, provided it is in pre-measured containers marked with your pet's name along with any specific feeding instructions.
It is suggested that you bring with your pet something familiar, such as your pet's own bedding and a toy from home.
All Cats and Dogs
- Must be healthy when boarded, day care services or all other services provided.
- Rabies (within last year or 3 yrs. depending on pet's age.)
- Free of intestinal parasites including, but not limited to, hookworm, roundworm, etc.
- Must have a collar, ID tags and leash when visiting our kennel.
- Must be on a flea & tick prevention program.
- Must be neutered or spayed unless they are less than six months of age.
- Free of any aggressive behavior.
- We will keep a copy of your veterinarian and/or clinic vaccination records.
Dogs
- Must be healthy when boarded, day care services or all other services provided.
- Proof of DHPP - The combination of vaccines: distemper, hepatitis, parvovirus and parainfluenza (within last 3 years)
Bordetella vaccination. (kennel cough)
Rabies (within last year or 3 yrs. depending on pet's age.) - Must have a collar, ID tags and leash when visiting our kennel.
Cats
- Must be healthy when boarded. Day care services and all other services provided.
- Rabies (within last year or 3 yrs. depending on pet's age.)
- Proof of current FVRCP - The combination of vaccines protecting against FVR (FHV-1), FCV and FPV.
- FeLV and FIV vaccinations are recommended.
Important Note: Crescent City Kennel reserves the right to refuse any dog, birds or cat that demonstrates aggressive behavior or health issues that could pose a hazard or disruption to our staff or other guests.
